Summer is brutal — December through March, you will find yourself looking up which suburbs are highest above sea level so you do not flood. Storm season is real, not a metaphor. The city sprawls, so unless you live within a 5km radius of the CBD, you will need a car and you will sit in traffic. The mosquitoes are not a joke.
